Getting your family involved in your Dallas Wedding Ceremony can be a little tricky, but be assured that there is always a spot for everyone. Your siblings can be bridesmaids or groomsmen, or if those spots are taken there is always another niche for them. Maybe one has a knack for photography or design. Involvement doesn’t have to be limited to the ceremony itself. There is a ton of work that goes into making the ceremony and reception come together cohesively. “Behind the scenes” work is just as important as the “I do” moment. Honoring those no longer with us

Many couples wish to honor those that cannot be present with for their special day. This can be a simple table set up with their loved ones photo or carrying something special from a loved one like a lucky coin from their grandfather or their grandmother’s necklace.

Honoring family traditions.

If you have family traditions on either side, consider honoring them in your ceremony. Having two families with different background doesn’t have to be negative. Blend traditions together to create your own since you’ll be starting your own family.

Inviting loved ones to offer readings and blessings.

This can be during your ceremony or at the reception. This is a good chance to include speeches from more than just the best man and maid of honor. If you want to do it during the ceremony have them read a poem, scripture, or something brief about you both.

Opening or closing with a musical loved one

If you have a loved one who is talented vocally or instrumentally have them use their skills to open or close the ceremony. They would probably be thrilled to contribute with their passion.

Using symbolism.

Representing your loved ones doesn’t have to be a huge affair. It could be as simple as wearing a necklace with their picture inside or 4 of your favorite flowers in your bouquet to represent 4 special people in your life.
